Common Area

The common area is the hub of the hotel – open and inviting with sliding glass, floor to ceiling doors that create a seamless feel with the outdoors.  Filled with beautifully designed furniture, you can sink into one of four enveloping Arne Jacobson egg chairs nestled around an Eames surfboard coffee table.   The long back wall of the common room is hung with artist Margo Sawyer’s brilliant metal boxes while a modern rug warms the floor.  This is also where you’ll find our virtual concierge – computer, printer, scanner and fax – and the kitchen.  In the kitchen area help yourself to our Nuova Simonelli self-serve coffee system and everything you could want to get your morning going: quiche, cured meats, fresh squeezed juices, great bread, bagels, yogurt and granola.
